The Royal Society for the Prevention of Accidents launched its new film Facing Up to Falls at a joint event today with Age UK London, London Voluntary Service Council and Housing Learning and Improvement Network: http://bit.ly/19kdlJS

The film contains advice on preventing a fall and involves real-life experiences
of older people living in the London boroughs of Hackney, Islington and Newham. At the event we heard about the human and financial cost of older people suffering falls, and about how the risk of falls can be minimised by linking to preventive services like Age UK’s fit as a fiddle programme.
